Of all of the quirky nonsense that Jason Alexander’s character in Seinfeld, George Costanza, got into during the show’s nine-year run, none may be as memorable as his run-ins with Marisa Tomei. In the 14th episode of season seven, ”The Cadillac,” George goes behind his fiancée’s back to meet with Tomei, only to be punched in the face by her after letting her know of his engagement to Susan. Ten episodes later, George attempts to see Tomei again following Susan’s death, but would be turned down after she found out Susan’s funeral hadn’t even happened yet.
